Code of Confidentiality Policy
(Article IX of the Articles of Incorporation and By-laws)
College Students and Community Volunteers
- All names, addresses and personal information of any kind is not to be released to the public, media, or discussed with family members and friends regarding the youth served within the Project G.E.M. program.
- Participants of the program must have a clear understanding of this privacy act before entering into the program.
- Any personal information will remain within the staff of the facility, board members, and program director.
- Individuals directly involved in the program must sign the Code of Confidentiality with the program director. -The form will remain on file with the program. -This policy is to be respected by everyone involved with Project G.E.M.
- If this policy is not followed, a meeting will be called to order and allegations will be reviewed by all parties concerned. -A possible dismissal from the program may result by a two thirds vote at a special board meeting.
College Students and Community Volunteers
- All participants will be screened by the Program Director before entering the program with any and all services offered.
- All participants are required to sign the Confidentiality form before offering any services through the program.
- This is a nonprofit program and services rendered are on a volunteer basis.
