D.A.V.E. Prevention/Intervention
D.A.V.E. stands for Drug, Alcohol, Violence, Education. This component of Project G.E.M. was created to:
- help break the cycle of high risk behavior
- provide better decision making and choices
- teach youth to be more accountable for their actions
- promote healthier lifestyles for our youth in the community.
- Avoiding abusive and self-destructive relationships
- Bullying and teen violence
- Consequences of teenage drinking and driving
- Facts on smoking and secondary smoke
- Fetal alcohol syndrome and chemical use
- Sexual harassment and date rape
- STD’s and teen pregnancy
