Project G.E.M. says “Thank You!”
We would like to show our appreciation by recognizing the following contributors and agencies for their generous donations in supporting the program this past school term. Funding was distributed throughout the program for educational outreach services to fill a need within the sites we serve in Blue Earth, Brown and Nicollet Counties.
Project G.E.M. offers art, creative writing, music, and theater/drama into facilities that serve youth ages 7-17 yrs old with special needs. The out of school time activity called CAT (Creative After Thoughts) is offered in Blue Earth and Nicollet County. Our focus is cultural, environmental, and holistic/social education.
We also provide an opportunity for service-learning college students to assist and learn within the classrooms and help with various program activities. In the past year we placed 50 college students into the community that completed over 750 hours. Without the following continuing support, we would not be able to provide the services at the sites that we have been serving these past 16 years.
